Jack W Perry is the founder and lead strategist of 38enso, a consulting firm in the publishing industry. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the NYU SPS Masters in Publishing, teaching the Capstone course and also created a course on start-ups in publishing. He also is a founder of Warbler Press, an independent publisher based in NYC. Jack has run 38enso since 2002 and consulted for over 35 companies focusing on digital, start-ups and sales/marketing structure. His clients have included 3M; ESPN Books; Diversion Books; Abrams; Levine-Querido; and Writer’s House. Jack has been in book publishing for over two decades and has been a sales/marketing executive at Random House, Scholastic, Sourcebooks, and Highlights for Children. He has an MBA from the University of Connecticut, a BS in Finance, and a BA in History from the University of Missouri. He is married, with four children and lives in Westchester Co, NY.
