What does it take to become a member?

Simply go to this page, select, "No, I am a new customer," and enter your email address and password.  Becoming a member is as simple as one, two three!

Is filling in my member profile required?

We allow you to supply information about your profession, location, favorite books, interests, etc.  But no, that information is not required.  Although, sharing information about yourself is a good way to connect with others and start conversations.   It also helps us as company understand our readers better-- which leads to publishing better books.

What's in it for me?

The best part of being a member is the ability to start group discussions and write blogs on our site.  This is the only social media site dedicated to the mission of "connecting people and ideas to create a world that works for all."  

The second-best part is discounts and free content.  You get 10% off print books, 30% off ebooks, and you get a subscription to our email newsletter (the BK Communique) which comes every two weeks and has a free ebook in every issue.   

The discounts are automatically applied when you log in to the site using the member account you have created.  The free ebook you have to download within 48 hours of receiving the newsletter, or you lose your chance.
